Now that is fantastic! Stuff of legend for me. I know the path - thread on this has been well trodden however surely there are some gamers out there with this on tape/disc who may be willing to let their poor antipodean cousins in the wargaming world catch a glimpse.
Most interesting. I recall as a boy seeing a picture in the TV Times of Derek Guyler with his beautifully painted flat ancient army. I cut it out and kept it for years.I wish I had the picture still...
Yep I remember tgat I have yet to find a video/disc copy . Such things as VHSand Beta max were very rare indeed in the late 70s when Tyne-tees first aired it. It probably went the way of many missing episodes of TV history
I've been lucky enough to have acquired four episodes from the series on dvd. The problem is it will only play on my pc and not my television. The best episode is Peter Gilder working the socks off John Braithwaite at Gettysberg. Thanks Robbie

Being on the wrong side of the world we never got to see the series either. Hopefully on day!!!
