This is my version of the 3rd New York Regiment c. 1778, 30 figures strong, all Hinchliffe castings designed, of course, by Peter Gilder. Alexander Hamilton (a slight modification of the Suren George Washington on a Gilder Foremost horse) provides moral support.
This unit is a fairly new addition to my collection and has only fought once.. i say 'fought', actually they didn't fire a shot, nor suffer a casualty - they just stood and watched as [enter Mel Gibson mode] the vile oppressors were soundly thrashed by the defenders of liberty [exit Mel Gibson mode] ......
As you can see my first efforts at photographing a decent sized unit have not been entirely successful - no doubt there are settings i could use to improve the focus, etc. but me and digital devices (including our camera) just don't get on, give me analogue anytime...

Lovely unit(GMB flag?). I have made a number of abortive "tricorne era" attempts, but these are tempting!
Beautifully Painted!
Very nicely done!
A couple of weeks ago the TV screen in my hobby room went bright blue and silent as the analogue signal was switched off forever down here. I was reduced to watching my complete Sharpe collection on DVD but fortunately the wife took pity and bought a brand new digital TV. I now have 37channels to paint by so not all digital is bad...

Thanks for the comments guys.
Matt - yep the flag is GMB. For some strange reason i quite like creating my own flags but i can't better GMB, and they save so much time, so if Grahame does the appropriate flag then i use it.
Ian - my wife recently signed us up to Sky - not doubt intending to immerse herself in an unending supply of soaps, etc. She was not amused to find that we now also have an array of discovery, history and military channels.....i didn't watch much TV before, but i do watch a bit now....8-)
