The figure getting shot through the head with hat flying off is inspired. The other turning head over heels with his horse is tad OTT for my taste and IMO the horse looks like its back should be arched the other way. However I'm intrigued by the hussar(?) in the background of the first shot - Pulaski? Any chance of a good photo of him?

Great stuff, both animation and painting! I never tire of seeing examples of Doug's work.
